About Us
EcoInformatics Limited is a company that plans to develop a Center of Excellence in the information and communications technology (ICT) in Ghana. We seek to bring the capabilities of ICT to greatly enhance the capacity of public and private sector organizations in Ghana and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) sub-region. By bringing together a high caliber team of multi-disciplinary experts, we intend to raise the practice of ICT to the next level in the sub-region and apply the ICT support to raise the global competitiveness of organizations in the sub-region.
EcoInformatics is founded on the proposition that ICT is the new key to socio-economic development but the potential can be unlocked only if the capability can be made a partner in the development of solutions to increase the efficiency, competitiveness and effectiveness of indigenous organizations.
Mission
EcoInformatics Mission is to “Be a Center of Excellence that provides institutions – in both the public and private sectors – the ICT tools, in conjunction with modern business management, to enable them to be globally competitive.” This translates to being the premier ICT partner for organizations and implies helping them to effectively utilize ICT in the Total Life Cycle Management of their operations.
Vision
The Vision is to be the leading Center of Excellence in ICT in Africa that is recognized for helping to accelerate the development of the continent by using ICT, in conjunction with modern business management, to make the institutions globally competitive while helping to create wealth on the African continent. The aim is to help move ICT practice to the highest level in order to accelerate the optimal deployment of ICT and modern business management in Ghana, the sub-region and the continent.
